TURBOLYST

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

This policy explains how Turbolyst (“we”) handles personal information when you use the Service or visit a listing website we publish. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

In short: if you submit an enquiry on a listing website, your contact details go to that listing's real estate professional so they can respond to you. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who controls your information

Listing websites are published on behalf of independent real estate professionals and their brokerages (“Subscribers”). When you submit an enquiry, that Subscriber is the party responsible for how they subsequently use your information, and their own privacy practices and brokerage policies apply. Turbolyst processes the information on their behalf as a service provider.

What we collect

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the Service is not directed to them.

Why we use it

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for third‑party advertising or profiling.

Consent and communications

By submitting an enquiry form, you consent to being contacted by the listing's real estate professional about that enquiry, by the means you provided. You may withdraw consent or ask to stop receiving communications at any time — by replying to the professional directly, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us at the address below. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot deliver the service you requested.

Service providers

We use third parties to run the Service, and they access personal information only as needed to perform their function:

Some providers may store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States. Where that happens, the information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or authorities in that jurisdiction under its laws.

Retention

We keep enquiry and alert information for as long as the Subscriber's account is active and it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law or professional record‑keeping rules, and then delete or de‑identify it.

Security

Access is protected by authentication and per‑account database access controls, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies

Listing websites do not use advertising or cross‑site tracking cookies. The Subscriber application uses browser storage strictly to keep you signed in and to hold your working data.

Your rights

Subject to legal limits, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask that it be deleted, or withdraw consent. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
